FOOD & VINE, INC. disclose GREEN energy milestone
FOR SALUTE SANTÉ! GRAPESEED OIL--DIESEL FUEL ALTERNATIVE

Food & Vine, Inc., producer of award winning Salute Santé! Grapeseed Oil, the premium 100% natural grapeseed oil has announced an energy-alternative solution for their used high-end oil…recycling it to their company vehicles - a 1979 diesel Mercedes, a 1983 diesel Mercedes (a.k.a. GreenCars) and a 1996 Ford 350 truck (a.k.a. GreenTruck)
“We’ve been using grapeseed oil as an alternative for diesel for 2 years,” states Valentin Humer, president and CEO of Napa, Calif. based Food & Vine, Inc. maker of Salute Santé Grapeseed Oil. “This type of energy burns clean so it’s good for the environment and the car usage is the same, no changes to the power or mileage;
it’s an incredible diesel fuel substitute.”

Due to the low saturated fat content and thin viscosity of Salute Santé Grapeseed Oil, it does not solidify and freeze in low temperatures making it a good combustible oil. Humer says that the problem with other vegetable oils is they tend to gel, especially in cold weather. Additionally, Humer claims that using Salute Santé Grapeseed Oil as diesel fuel is more desirable than other
forms of recycling discarded frying oil from restaurants.
The process using Salute Santé Grapeseed Oil as a substitute for diesel fuel is simple, says Humer. “We procure the used oil from our restaurant clients, filter it and fill our GreenCar, the only mechanical change is the gas filter.” “Our GreenCar is an extension of our health-conscious philosophy and goes along with the fold of our company,” says Humer. “It’s preventive health care for our environment.” A green vehicle is a vehicle that is considered to be “environmentally friendly.” This is accomplished by reducing consumption of petroleum, or, preferably, by using renewable energy sources for fuel/energy, i.e. grapeseed oil.
